Citco Fund Services Bringing 258 Financial Jobs to Charlotte

Citco Fund Services plans to create 258 financial-service jobs over the next five years in Charlotte, N.C.

The firm, which offers a variety of financial services including hedge fund administration is investing $3 million for a new office and staffing in Charlotte, the Charlotte Business Journal. According to the report, the jobs will pay in excess of $78,000 with benefits.

Citco Fund Services is expected to ask state officials for incentives for the project, including job-development grants. The Business Journal reports the company is eligible for up to $4 million in job-development investment grants over the next six years.

Citco Fund, a member of the Citco Group of Cos, has 4,000 employees in 37 countries.
