Members of the district school board in Flint, Michigan had more bad news to bring on Wednesday. After having already laid off 250 educators just a week ago, the board plans to pink slip an additional 15 administrators and 27 teachers.

Among the pool of school administrators are six principals.

The layoffs are a continued effort to bring the districts budgetary deficit into balance. The revenues are $15 million to $20 million below the projected costs for the 2010-2011 school year.

On a positive note, it is believed that some of the teachers will be eventually hired back. There was no public disclosure, however, as to how many and when these may occur.
