Johnson Controls Shutting Illinois Plant, Laying Off 211

Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Johnson Controls will close its Dixon, Illinois plant in October, laying off 211 people.The plant manufactures industrial refrigeration equipment for the food & beverage industry.
The firm announced in March it would cut jobs and close 10 manufacturing plants.
Johnson Controls employs 140,000 people.
