Veterans Administration Bringing 200 Jobs to Wisconsin

The Veterans Health Administration is expanding its billing and collections center in Madison, Wisconsin, bringing 200 full-time jobs to the city.The agency is consolidating billing and administrative activities from VA hospitals around the Midwest, and expanding the North Central Consolidated Patient Account Center in Middleton.
A new facility will be constructed in Madison to house the 200 new workers and the Center’s existing 130 employees. It will handle all billing and claims administration for VA hospitals in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
The Veterans Health Administration is the component of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs that implements the medical assistance program of the VA, through the administration and operation of numerous VA outpatient clinics, hospitals, medical centers and long-term health care facilities.
