Wisconsin’s Rexnord Cut 1,300 Jobs Since October

Milwaukee’s Rexnord has cut 1,300 jobs since October 2008, the manufacturer of power transmission and water management systems announced this week. The firm blames loss of sales due to the economic meltdown.

Rexnord employs 6,800 worldwide.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Rexnord is a diversified multi-platform industrial company that manufactures and markets power transmission and water management products.
