Ghost Town in the Sky to Hire 200 for Season

The Ghost Town in the Sky theme park will hold a job fair tomorrow, seeking 200 seasonal employees.

The park, located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, will reopen for the season on May 22nd.

Jobs available include maintenance, security, retail, ride operation, landscaping, singing, dancing, and food service. Salaries start at $8 an hour.

First opening in 1961, Ghost Town in the Sky is a wild west themed amusement park. It is located atop a mountain which can only be accessed by visitors via a 3370′ long chair lift or an inclined railway. The recreated “Ghost Town” sits at 4600′, with the highest elevation in the park being about 4650′.
