Viking Yachts Cuts 560 Jobs

New Jersey-based high-end yacht builder Viking Yachts has cut 560 jobs from its work force of nearly 1,400 employees.Because when you think of New Jersey, you think of (1) vikings and (2) yachts.
The firm says no more layoffs or furloughs are planned. Viking Yachts hopes to bring back many of the workers by the fall.
The company’s sport fishing and motor yachts cost between $1 million and $4.5 million. It’s unclear if there is an employee discount.
