Aussie Firm Brings 33 Jobs to Pennsylvania

Medical device manufacturer Unilife Medical Solutions, formerly of Sydney, Australia, is relocating its world headquarters to Fairview Township, Pennsylvania, as part of an $8.7 million company expansion that will create at least 33 high-wage jobs.

The company will move in to offices formerly occupied by one of its subsidiaries, Integrated BioScience. The expansion plans retain at least 87 employees in addition to the new jobs.

Unilife Medical Solutions designs and manufactures safety medical devices, with the core of its business activity being pre-filled syringes.

Pennsylvania is providing the company with a $1.8 million funding program.
