Coca-Cola Cuts Jobs in Florida

Sixty-eight employees at the Coca-Cola service center in Brandon, Florida, will lose their jobs by May 20th.The world’s biggest seller of sugar water made an outsourcing agreement with Capgemini, a firm based in Paris, France.
Home to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits administration and transaction support departments, the shared services center provides finance and human resources support.
Atlanta-based Coca-Cola employs 90,500 associates worldwide. In February, the company posted a net loss of $4.4 billion for 2008.
