Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital, a well established and high-quality, three-doctor, full-service general practice, seeks to add an exceptional and dedicated part-time customer service receptionist to our caring and family-oriented team. The position available plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients, as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, however, evening and rotating Saturday shifts are required. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working comradery and team environment with great doctor leadership and excellent support staff. We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medicine and our entire team plays an integral role in providing quality medical care to our patients and customers. Our office is the “hub” of all activity and it is crucial to have a positive, energetic, professional and customer oriented team at the helm! This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, client education, critical medical documentation, some animal handling, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times. Candidates must have a very flexible schedule and excellent skills in the following areas: client service, sales, communication, and multi-tasking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone communication ability. Most importantly, applicants must enjoy working as part of a team.
