Hatchery Worker Labor - 1st Shift

Job Details:

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only, if no qualified applicants will consider external applicants.

Team member will be responsible for moving racks of product, and or boxes throughout the facility in a

concerted manner. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work space. This will include

but not be limited to operating machinery, counting, reading, scrubbing, soaping, rinsing, disinfecting,

mopping, or buffing to meet all sanitation requirements set forth. The team member will also be responsible

for practicing safe and delicate egg and chick handling, as well as promoting and practicing proper Animal

Welfare Guidelines. Applicants must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs. occasionally, must be able to

stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach for long periods of time- up to 10 hours a shift, must

be able to work in an area with a high concentration of allergens such as chick down, dust etc. Will be

working in a climate ranging from cold to hot temperatures with high humidity.

Must have a flexible schedule and complete all tasks or duties as assigned by management

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.

Animal Welfare background check is required

Only applicants who reside in Carroll, Boone, Madison, and Newton County in Arkansas and Stone County in Missouri, within a 50 mile radius.

Must not have worked for Tyson Foods more than (3) three times to be considered.

Rehire period eligibility is 181 days after termination if eligible for rehire.

Must be willing to be Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 previous to 45 Days after hire to be eligible for hire, the first vaccination must be administered previous to hire.

Work Shift: 1st Shift

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or until finished

Note: This is a 4 day work week/ 10 hour shifts
