GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Scope of position:
Under the direction of a faculty researcher, the research assistant will aid in large animal post-op surgery.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Working with large animals:
monitor vital signs
change/flip the animal's body position
report to the study staff/veterinarian immediately if he/she notices any abnormal conditions.
The shift would be for several hours however there would be a lot of downtime.
Experienced preferred however willing to train the right candidate. Good opportunity for growth and to learn cutting-edge research involving animals.
